Closed Circuit Corrosion Inhibitor
OPTIGARD BMC 54 is a clear, specially formulated, chromate- and phosphate-free corrosion inhibitor used to prevent pitting and galvanic corrosion in closed-circuit heating and cooling systems.
Because it is chromate- and phosphate-free, it can condition closed-circuit heating and cooling systems without any risk of contamination.
There is no harm in applying blowdown directly to water sources such as rivers and lakes. It was specifically developed to control pitting and galvanic corrosion, particularly in systems containing multiple metals.
Because it is chromate- and phosphate-free, it is environmentally friendly.
It is easy to use and economical.
