OPTILAB ALU-9 is effective in reducing friction between the rolling mill and the metal during the production of aluminum coils and sheets, ensuring the sheet thickness reaches the desired level, and controlling the temperature.

CONTENTS

OPTILAB ALU-9 rolling oil consists of a base oil that allows the dispersion of additives, additives that increase lubrication, and antioxidant additives that increase resistance to oxidation. Base oils provide heat control and facilitate annealing in addition to additive dispersion. Additives adhere to the surface of rolled aluminum, preventing cracking and film fractures. Additives also ensure controlled heat distribution, reducing evaporation losses. Antioxidants, on the other hand, prevent the oxidation of rolling oil at high temperatures, extending the oil's service life.
