Corrosion Inhibitor for Closed Circuit Cooling Water
OPTIGARD PF 255 is used to condition closed-circuit cooling water. It effectively protects iron and copper surfaces against corrosion.
It bonds with calcium ions to form positively charged colloids.
The resulting positively charged colloids accumulate on the cathode surface, forming a passive film. It contains a polymer that prevents calcium phosphate precipitation.
