OPTINOX ® CITRON 200 is a high-quality chemical blend formulated with proprietary blends of inhibitors and surfactants for the cleaning and passivation of stainless steel surfaces, special alloys, titanium, and precious metals.
OPTINOX ® CITRON 200 is specifically designed to provide the highest possible chromium oxide levels by cost-effectively and effectively removing all free iron and contaminants from the surfaces of most stainless steel types, including austenitic, ferritic, martensitic, precipitation-hardened, and duplex.
OPTINOX ® CITRON 200, a passivation chemical, is used to passivate stainless steel components in a wide range of applications, from aerospace to food and beverage processing.
In the aerospace industry, it is used to prepare parts, especially titanium parts, for flight by removing free iron and other contaminants that can cause corrosion. In the food and beverage industry, OPTINOX ® CITRON 200 is used to ensure that stainless steel equipment used in production processes is free of impurities that could affect product quality and safety.

Before using OPTINOX® CITRON 200, surfaces should be cleaned of impurities, oil, dirt, and work residue with OPTILINE® ULTRASOL or OPTIGARD® AK 340 KM.
